New IOLITE® Modular Amplifier Modules

IOLITE modular amplifier modules

When you need to have your DAQ system as close as possible to the sensor, this new line of distributable multi-channel IOLITE systems is the way to go. As of today, the following modules are available in the IOLITE modular product range:

  • IOLITE-16xLV

  • IOLITE-8xLVe

  • IOLITE-8xSTGS

  • IOLITEi-8xTH-HS

  • IOLITEi-RTD-HS

A great feature of these new IOLITE modules is passive PoE (power over Ethernet), allowing you to daisy chain several IOLITE modular units with just a network cable. Since the power is "always on" when using a passive PoE we recommend the connection to the PC as shown below:

The upgraded power supply of the IOLITE multi-standalone products also offers a power injector feature that can prevent voltage drops caused by long cables.

The bundle addresses the growing need for stable temperature measurements in challenging EMC environments. IOLITE is a great solution for industrial low voltage measurement applications. This product series also offers a TEDS-compatible strain gauge module with low power consumption and long-term stability.

The specifications of these modules are the same as their rack versions.

IOLITE-16xLV

16-channel voltage input module. Selectable ±200 V and ±10 V input ranges, 24-bit oversampled sigma-delta ADC.

IOLITE-8xLVe

8-channel low voltage and industrial sensor module. Includes unipolar excitation and TEDS support. More than just a voltage module, the 8xLVe works with a variety of industrial sensors including pressure sensors, potentiometers and MEMS accelerometers. Due to its powerful sensor supply, it is also compatible with certain current sensors.

IOLITE-8xSTGS

8-channel strain gauge module. Supports full, half, and quarter bridge configurations, as well as potentiometer mode. Selectable bridge ranges of 2 mV/V, 20 mV/V, 200 mV/V, with selectable 1, 2 or 5 V excitation and a built-in 100 kΩ shunt. includes TEDS sensor identification support. Available with either DSUB-37 or terminal block connectors.

8-channel high-speed thermocouple module. Includes a new 24-bit ADC with sample rates of up to 10 kS/s per channel, channel-to-channel isolation, improved EMC immunity via a sharp analog anti-aliasing filter (third order, -3dB @ 1kHz) and digital FIR filters.

8-channel high-speed RTD module. Includes a new 24-bit ADC with sample rates up to 10 kS/s per channel, channel-to-channel isolation, improved EMC immunity via a sharp analog anti-aliasing filter (-130 dB, less than 1 mK resolution), available with either terminal block or LEMO connectors.
