DAQ systems were not natively real-time devices, and PLCs lacked high-end signal conditioning and dynamic recording capabilities. Dewesoft has changed all of that by building powerful DAQ instruments with one or even dual-redundant EtherCAT interfaces. These systems can store hundreds of analog and digital channels at full speed while allowing data to be sent out in parallel to any third-party EtherCAT master controller.
