Biography
Education and Early Career
Helmut Behmüller studied Measurement Technology (Messtechnik) at HTWG Hochschule Konstanz – Technik, Wirtschaft und Gestaltung, graduating as a Diplom-Ingenieur (Dipl.-Ing.) in 1998. Following his studies, he began his professional journey as a Technical-Scientific Associate at Zentrum für Sonnenenergie- und Wasserstoff-Forschung Baden-Württemberg (ZSW Stuttgart) in 1998, where he gained early research experience in applied measurement technology.
He transitioned into industry roles soon after, working at ADM Messtechnik (1999–2002) as a Sales Manager, and then at DEWETRON GmbH (2002–2013), where he built a decade of expertise in sales and applications of data acquisition systems.
Career at Dewesoft
Since 2013, Helmut has been a driving force behind Dewesoft Deutschland GmbH, where he currently serves as Vertriebsleiter (Sales Director). Based in Unterensingen, Baden-Württemberg, he has over 12 years of leadership experience within Dewesoft’s German subsidiary.
In this role, he oversees regional sales, business development, and customer relationships, with a strong focus on automotive testing and measurement technology. His expertise spans:
Sensor development and calibration
Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) testing
DAQ system development
Wireless data logging from vehicle networks
Specialized measurement technology applications
Helmut is also deeply connected to the international automotive testing community, exchanging experiences and building networks that shape new business opportunities.

With more than 20 years of experience in the measurement technology sector, Helmut is recognized for his ability to bridge cutting-edge DAQ solutions with practical automotive and industrial testing applications. He has contributed to major seminars and workshops in the field of power electronics and real-time measurement analysis, often collaborating with universities and industry experts.
In 2025, he is co-leading workshops at the “Echtzeitanalyse und Messtechnik” seminar in Nürnberg, where Dewesoft’s technologies are showcased in real-world applications of electrical drives, converters, and energy networks. His involvement emphasizes his role not just as a sales leader, but also as a technical mentor and industry thought leader.
