Application Engineer
Iza Burnik was born in 1995 in Ljubljana and has lived in different parts of Ljubljana ever since. She attended primary and secondary school in Ljubljana, where she gained interest in mathematics, physics and biology. She decided to connect her interests with pursuing a Bachelor and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering (University of Ljubljana), Masters focused on Biomedical Engineering (AI and automated analysis of medical images and sensors and measurements in medicine).
Already during her studies, she nurtured her aspiration for working with people, entrepreneurship and process management, being actively involved in education and promotional activities at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, a student organization and student groups, and Institute 404. Those mentioned above was also her first employment as a mentor to young engineers, project manager and developer of prototype devices for customers.
She joined Dewesoft late in 2022 and is now an Application Engineer for devices, also involved in the Hardware department.

Data Acquisition Knowledge Base
Dewesoft has integrated Power over Ethernet (PoE) and Precision Time Protocol v2 (PTP v2) into its data acquisition (DAQ) systems to enhance flexibility, synchronization, and ease of use. PoE allows Dewesoft instruments to receive power and data over a single Ethernet cable, simplifying installation and deployment in remote locations. PTP v2 ensures precise time synchronization across networked measurement devices, which is critical for applications in industrial automation.
Application Notes
At the acrobatics and trampolining event, Odbito in Slovenia, members of Dunking Devils aimed to set a new Guinness record combining trampoline jumping and basketball dunking. Dewesoft measurements verified the new record for the highest dunk from a small tarp.
