New DAQ Amplifier Modules for IOLITE® Data Acquisition Systems

Dewesoft has released 4 new I/O amplifier modules for the IOLITE Rack, IOLITE LX, and IOLITE modular data acquisition and real-time control systems:
IOLITE-8xSTGS - 8-channel strain gauge amplifier module
IOLITE-16xLV - 16-channel voltage amplifier module
IOLITEi-8xLA - 8-channel current amplifier module
IOLITE-16xAO - 16-channel analog output amplifier module
As with all standard IOLITE amplifier modules, these new modules are equipped with two parallel EtherCAT data buses for both high-quality buffered data acquisition and real-time control. The modules are compatible and can be used in any IOLITE main-frame chassis:
IOLITE R8,
IOLITE R12, or
IOLITE LX.
IOLITE-8xSTGS - 8-channel strain gauge amplifier module
IOLITE-8xSTGS is an 8-channel strain gauge module. It supports the following inputs:
full-bridge sensors,
half-bridge sensors,
quarter-bridge sensors,
voltage,
potentiometer mode.
Predefined bridge ranges are 2 mV/V, 20 mV/V, 200 mV/V (free programmable between 2 mV/V and 1000 mV/V), where users can select the excitation voltage of 1 V, 2 V, or 5 V.
IOLITE-8xSTGS includes a new 24-bit oversampled sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter with a sampling rate of up to 20 kS/s which features an option for low latency Sinc5 filter, a perfect solution for control applications.
IOLITE-8xSTGS features an internal 100 kΩ shunt which can be used in the positive or negative leg. Configuration is software selectable. DewesoftX software enables shunting, shorting, sensor balancing, and lead wire compensation. Additionally, the TEDS sensor interface is supported as well.
The advantage of IOLITE-8xSTGS is in long-term stability and low power consumption.
IOLITE-8xSTGS is available with two different input connector types:

IOLITE-16xLV - 16-channel voltage amplifier module
The latest product in the IOLITE family is the 16-channel low-voltage module. IOLITE-16xLV is the high-density general-purpose voltage input data acquisition module.
It is a perfect solution for industrial applications due to its affordable price, high accuracy, and channel-to-ground isolation.
IOLITE-16xLV has two input ranges:
±200 V and
±10 V.
Data is acquired simultaneously from all 16 channels with a sampling rate of up to 20 kS/sec.

IOLITEi-8xLA - 8-channel current amplifier module
The latest product in the IOLITE family is a multichannel low-current measurement module. The perfect device for data acquisition in control applications requiring input for current loop signals in the range of ±20 mA.
The IOLITEi-8xLA has 8 analog channels. 24-bit ADC performs data acquisition with a sampling rate of up to 20 kS/s.IOLITEi-8xLA includes an analog anti-aliasing filter with a 26 kHz cut-off frequency (3rd order, Butterworth).
The IOLITEi-8xLA is available in two input range versions:
±20 mA and
±2 mA.

IOLITEi-8xLA is equipped with two EtherCAT buses in parallel for both, DAQ and real-time control. The module can be mounted in all IOLITE chassis - IOLITE Rack and IOLITE LX.

IOLITE-16xAO - 16-channel analog output amplifier module
The IOLITE-16xAO is a 16-channel analog output module designed for industrial applications.
This module offers 16 analog voltage output channels in the range of ±10 V.
Outputs are galvanically isolated from the main power supply ground.
Additionally, non-isolated supply voltage with a current limit of 2 A can be used from PWR OUT pins.
The input connector of IOLITE-16xAO is a terminal block OMNIMATE Signal SL Series. The IOLITE-16xAO module has 9-pin terminal block connectors with a 2.50 mm pitch for analog output. 8 pins on a 9-pin connector bank are used for digital inputs and pin 9 for common GND.
Additionally, there is a 2-pin terminal block connector with a 2.50 mm pitch for the PWR OUT function.
IOLITE-16xAO is a perfect tool for signal conditioning.
