Hittills har datainsamling med hög hastighet och styrning i realtid varit två helt olika världar. Mätningssystemen var inte inbäddade i realtid och PLC:erna saknade signalkonditionering på hög nivå och dynamiska registerfunktioner. Dewesoft har förändrat denna situation genom att utveckla kraftfulla DAQ-enheter med ett eller till och med två redundanta EtherCAT-gränssnitt. Dessa system kan lagra hundratals analoga och digitala kanaler i full hastighet och kan samtidigt skicka data parallellt till en EtherCAT-masterstyrenhet från en tredje part. Världen för höghastighetsmätning och realtidskontroll har äntligen kommit samman.
